train frustration

Monday means badminton. So we were all happy and excited for training … until, after trekking to the boys’ gym with 3 nets and a large bag of racquets, we realised that the boys had taken EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE COURTS. Even the ones that we usually take. So after relocating many times, we were reduced to the CLEVELAND QUAD. I mean … badminton means indoors. No wind. Little feathery thing gets blown by wind.

So I guess you guys would probably know what I mean when I say that it didn’t really work. As proved when we tried to play table tennis in the wind the next day. Well because we were playing in the Cleveland Quad it was much closer to the storage thing where we put our stuff. A bus also came the moment we arrived at the bus stop.

When I got to Central, there was a Cronulla in 3 minutes. I ran for it. Arriving at the platform, A TINCAN WAS THERE AND IT WAS REALLY CROWDED. So I had to endure that horrifying moment when I have to decide whether to get on or not. But then I REMEMBERED THAT USUALLY THERE’S A TINCAN THAT COMES BEFORE MY REALLY NICE TRAIN. My usual train (the really nice one) doesn’t stop at Wolli Creek or Rockdale. So when I was looking at the timetable and the train after the Cronulla was an ‘express’, I assumed that that was my train.

So off the train goes. I’m like YAY my train is almost here and I can get home and see what my brother looks like in SBHS uniform! (I was SO excited, omg he’s gonna look so weird with a tie and everything HAHHAHAHHAHA) and then I turn my head to look at the timetable.

AND THEN MY FACE WENT WHITE. I DID THAT WHOLE EYE-WIDENING OMG WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME FACE. Why?! Because the next train stopped at Redfern then HURSTVILLE. Kogarah is before Hurstville. The train DOES NOT STOP AT MY STOP. Argh. Omg. WHY DID I MISS THAT TRAIN? IM SUCH AN IDIOT. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY?! So then I use my phone to see if there’s a train from Hurstville to Kogarah after this one. Yes there is! And I only have to wait 3 minutes.

So yeah coolies I get onto that train. But to check, I used my phone to check what time the next train gets to Kogarah. 3 MINUTES EARLIER. AND I DON’T HAVE TO CHANGE TRAINS. So I did that whole gritting teeth inhaling making hissing sound that Amanda always does and the hand movement that’s like clutching something that’s falling down. If you know what I mean.

So I got off at Redfern. The next train. The next train is an all stops! Okay so I know this train gets there earlier … but let’s see the next one. Cause all stops are slower. SO I USE MY PHONE TO CHECK AND IT TURNS OUT THAT THE TRAIN AFTER THAT GETS TO KOGARAH 2 MINUTES EARLIER!

So I watch as the all stops passes me … and then get on the train after that. I recognise the train. IT’S THE TRAIN THAT I USUALLY CATCH, YET I GOT TO CENTRAL QUITE A BIT EARLIER THAN USUAL. I was so annoyed. But when I got home … I opened the door and MY BROTHER GREETED ME IN SBHS UNIFORM! OMG SO CUTE.

outdated posts

Now … THE CONGREGATION OF OUTDATED POSTS! Most of these posts have got to do with weird stuff I’ve seen outside of which I took a photo of, planning to make a post about something which I saw. But then, naturally, I forgot about them and now they’re sitting in my phone …

My brother has a constantly runny nose. My mum often says how it’s lucky only my brother has it and that I don’t … but NOW I DO. OMG. MY NOSE IS SO ITCHY AND I SNEEZE LIKE 5 TIMES MORE THAN USUAL. It is sad.

I know that the photo’s kinda blurry but WHAT DO YOU SEE?!?! Well, my brother probably saw it differently to you. As we walked past this in coles, he asked my mum:

Jason: “isn’t that really unhygienic? I mean, so much bacteria and stuff can get it in!!”

Mum: “… not really. Cause they suck out all the air and stuff.”

Jason: “what … ?! OMG RIGHT! I thought it was just a slab of meat on a piece of paper sitting there haha!:

Me: “OMG LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!”

Yeah well I took a photo of my bottle cause it looked cool. Like this dice photo I had ages ago. Cause the front’s heavier and it looks like it’s floating! Yay.

so I was eating snakes from an unfinished lolly packet (cause we had to make my brother’s lolly bags) and I realised that all the snakes had little smiley faces on them. Made my day!

and this is a photo of the birthday card that my brother gave my mum. I remember overhearing Jason ask mum what ‘style’ she wanted him to draw the card, and mum said that she didn’t mind. So my brother drew it this way (he’s so ARTISTIC im sure I left my share of creative talent in my mum’s womb when I was born so my brother absorbed it). My mum laughed when she saw it and asked why the nostrils were so big and my brother poofed his chest out and said ‘it’s a type of style, mum!’

this is a popcorn packet that I ate from. It said coolpak and I thought of gaypak and then I thought of Katherine. So I just took a photo before throwing it away. Time to look for an awesomepak.

we were looking at cutlery in myer at Hurstville, and we came across this spoon. I showed my brother and we started laughing … what’s the point of a spoon when it’s got a hole in the middle?

after seeing Katherine near myer on the same day my brother and I noticed a set of screws and locks on the wall. We noticed that you can see a cow and a dog in the wall ‘decoration’. Can you see them? :D 

Last but not least, I was looking in target for a possible present for my kris kringle and was just looking at the cards. Then I saw this. Can any of you guys spot what’s wrong with this card? >:)

great. i was going to finally make a post on mylitterbother and i needed three photos from my phone. i tried to email it to myself cause im too lazy to take the sd card out and stuff, but it said that the message got saved to my outbox. then i realised i forgot to turn on my phone's wifi. so i turned on the wifi and tried again.

but then it says that it fails cause there's something wrong with my account. and it says that my password doesnt match with my username but IT DOES!!! i tried it several times but it still DOESN'T WORK. urgh. and now it's 11 and i cant do my post and my mail on my phone is not working.

trivial matters in the context of the world but .... grrrrrrrrrrr.

well lalalala today i went to the city. and it turns out katherine was also there ... but we didn't see each other. sadly.

well, first thing my bro made us do was go into the good games store. when i entered ... wow i'd never seen anything like it before!

the people in the store were predominantly men in their 20s, and it was amusing watching them carry like 20cm thick albums of their yugioh cards and showing them to each other. i didn't know these people really existed! i know i sound entirely ignorant but it really opened my eyes to what a gaming club was like. i'd never seen any of them in real life!

displayed at the counter were ... omg ten million yugioh cards. and i thought my bro had too much. i could hear my bro hyperventilating ... i bet you his mind was going 'OH MY GOSH THIS IS MY HAVEN! SO MANY YUGIOH CARDS ~~~'

anyway. well the men there were duelling, and they had little tables where they sat and duelled. i really can't actually imagine people taking time out, travelling to the city to duel with some people they don't know'. well, i guess this is why i live under a rock (metaphorically ... i dont really live under a rock. i dont live in coober pedy either :D). i guess it's really a socialising experience as they can interact amongst people with similar interests ...

yeah, this was behind the counter.

you see the array of paper that looks like files? every single one of them is a yugioh card. OH. MY. GOSH. you should've seen even more on the left of the counter ... but i dont think i took a photo of it =/
