Work experience day 2!

So I'm typing this on my phone so let's hope this works ... well today was similar to yesterday. Except yesterday I sat for the whole of call over while today I sat for a bit in court. Court was ... boring. I didn't really understand what was going on and it didn't seem amusing. I started bobbing.

The funny thing is I wad an idiot so I had to ask how to walk in and out. So this ... solicitor? who was the prosecutor taught me to dip my head at the door then sit down quietly and stuff. I must've sounded like a idiot.

I had morning tea while watching a documentary about life and evolution in desert sand dunes and stuff. There was this single light that was on in the lunch room but I couldn't find the corresponding switch so I had to leave it on even though no one was there.

So like yesterday I arranged case things in alphabetical order, printed cover sheets (my favourite job cause you get to use the computer and printer ... the printer prints really fast and the sheets of paper are really warm). That reminds me. I hugged the warm paper every time.

Seriously. In this weather most people are dying of the heat. Me? I was shivering. Dying from the cold. The air con inside isn't too noticeable when you go in in the morning, but the moment you come out it's like over 10 degree difference. Everyone in the office was like freezing ... YET NO ONE WAS LOWERING THE AIR CON. SERIOUSLY. And yes, I realise my hypocrisy. But I can quote a conversation:

Registrar (walks in): its like an iceberg in here!

Girl in sleeveless dress: it's not that cold!

Registrar: look! Your thermometer reads 20 degrees! It's got to be higher than that.

Girl: how do you know my thermometer isn't wrong!? What about people like us with bare arms and shoulders? (Points to female colleague with similar attire)

So yeah. The registrar was cold and he had a long blouse on with a tie done all the way up. I was wearing short sleeves! So crazy as it sounds, I'm wearing a jumper or cardigan thing tomorrow.

So just for the sake of a photo, I have a photo of two sticky thingos which were on some booklet things I needed to add coversheets on :)
