i was watching this taiwanese drama just then . . . and one of the episodes got so exaggerated and made no sense that i have to talk about it here.
episode summary :
the guy and the girl do not like each other. the guy begins to admire the girl for her culinary skills. THEN one day the guy gets sick (he plays a chef) and he's LITERALLY fainting around the kitchen. like when he's cooking he faints and leans on the guy behind him. imagine if he fell forward. what's more he's got a mask on and he's still cooking when he looks like he's dying. well, i acknowledge that since he's head chef they really really need him but once he leant down to taste it (and didn't luckily, cause otherwise the people who ate the food would get sick too) and i was thinking UNHYGIENIC MUCH! then he collaborates with the girl to get her to help him (previously he's very up himself and really mean to the girl) taste the food cause he keeps forgetting to add ingredients. once again, he continues to barely be able to talk.
at the end of the working day, the girl somehow finds him lying on the road. why? because apparently he got hit by a car. he felt dizzy. so she helps him up and says 'oh i'll drive you to the doctors now!' and she drives his motorcycle . the guy's practically unconscious. he's like falling off her back and looks like he's going to fall off the motorcycle . FOR GOODNESS SAKE PUT HIM IN THE FRONT SEAT OR SOMETHING. well yeah. then apparently he should enter hospital. but he refuses cause he doesnt like stuff like that, and takes 10 times the dose of the medicine because apparently it will make him better. and then the girl takes him home (with him falling off her back on the motorcycle again) and drags him back home . literally drag. he was lying on the floor and she put her arms under his armpits and pulled. SERIOUSLY IF HE DIED SHE WOULD BE ACCUSED OF MURDER DUE TO NEGLIGENCE . and she finally gets him home. then guess what? she takes his mask off. remember how i said he was really really sick? pale and coughing and no voice and fainting? well the girl hasn't said she likes him. but of course she lies on his bed and goes 'hey, he's kinda handsome'. and guess what's the best thing to do? she kisses him on the lips. she kisses this really really sick guy who's unconscious on the lips. GREAT DECISION.
NOW do you understand why i thought this episode was ridiculous? ludicrous. insane . ILLOGICAL . but i still liked it of course because i like watching people get together. it makes me happy :) this is how superficial i am.
oh and if you want the episode to watch for yourself? hm. i'll link it here when i find it :D drama name is tagged but it was episode 9 on my disc, but the episodes were like short and disjointed so it might be different :)

mens rea - guilty mind.
after all my instalments regarding my manipulation of Australia Post with my mail experiment conducted with katherine, my subconscious self must have felt guilty.
why? because just then, checking my mail, i received an email from Australia Post.
and guess what was the first thought that entered my head? it was kinda jumbly but it was something like: omg AUSTRALIA POST? they must know that i've been messing around with their system! they must've managed to use RELATIONAL DATABASES and navigated around them and found my email address connected to my home address! oh dear.
then i look at the subject. EPIPHANY. right. oh. ehee :)
on the topic of ipt invading my everyday life, i think my internet's dead today cause this commonly occurs:
AND asynchronous communication annoys me when my friend (*cough**cough*katherine*cough**cough*) gets my text almost 10 minutes after i send it.
P.S.S. i'm wondering if anyone will point out anything about one of my screenshots BY COMMENT. it's nothing unusual, just something stuck in my head. if you do - chances are it'll be by luck - i'll give you an entire post and TAG ENLARGEMENT :D

Fifth Instalment: SUCCESS!
as the title reads . . . WE HAVE REACHED SUCCESS!
today, after school, Katherine Fan finally received her letter addressed to her from me posted in a mail box nearer to her home . WOW. at 4:14pm my phone received her text reading 'I GOT YOUR LETTER'. i guess you can imagine our excitement at the fact :)
so therefore only two hypotheses prevail:

so therefore only two hypotheses prevail:
- the post office simply mails the letter to the address that is nearest to them, writing RTS (return to sender) when the from address is nearer (which should be in most cases?)
- the post office does not bother about returning to sender, etc. and simply mails it to the person for you (this will render RTS a . . . MYTH!)
yay! we have cut it down to 2 :) now in order to distinguish between them, my next run will be posting a letter TO katherine FROM me in a post box nearer to MY home . if the letter goes to katherine, the second will prove true but if it returns to me, the first will be.
and katherine is currently editing out the addresses of her millions of photos that she took of the letter and envelope . . . i am awaiting her email containing the final images. when i get it i will add it here :) and she will provide her in depth account of her experiences on the other side of the mail in the form of a comment to this post. hopefully :)
here are the photos! flickrrrr - remember to tell me if links are broken!
